How to Reduce your LDL Cholestrol

LOWER LDL LEVELS
Recently, I was watching a Talk Show, in which a doctor said how many people have chosen to become social drinkers and they have a strong reason for it. Guess what  they say.......
"Red wine is good for heart because it contains polyphenols, which reduces LDL Cholestrol ".
Then , the doctor mentioned that even eggplants contain polyphenol. So, why not eat eggplants instead of red wine ?
That's how, I landed up researching on this topic and have collected some valuable information.

Antioxidants in red wine called polyphenols may help protect the lining of blood vessels in your heart. This polyphenol is called resveratrol .

American Heart Association says that  still researchers are examining the potential benefits of components in red wine such as flavanoids and other antioxidants in reducing heart disease risk. The AHA also says that these components may be found in other fruits such as grapes or red grape juice. The lifestyle is also very important. AHA recommends increased physical activity , a diet  - high in fruits and vegetables and low in saturated fats.  They also say that no direct comparison trials have been made to determine the specific effect of wine or other alcohol on the risk of developing heart disease or stroke.

A few interesting food varieties and tips on how to lower your LDL Cholestrol

* EGGPLANTS -  here they come
   Eggplants are high in soluble fiber , high in antioxidants and low in calories.
  They contain cholestrol lowering dietary fiber.

* TEA - a perfect drink
   Both black tea and Green tea contain powerful antioxidants which be helpful to reduce LDL.
   Green Tea is better because it is made from unfermented tea leaves, and less processed.
   A secret ingredient in tea is Catechins, a type of disease - fighting flavanoid and antioxidant.
   I read in an article in WebMD that tea has 8 to 10 times more of polyphenol than that is found in fruits    and vegetables.

* Dark Chocolate (yummy........)
   It contains flavanoids and antioxidants that help to lower the LDL levels

* Avacados
   They contain Oleic acid, which helps to lower bad choloestrol

* Nuts
   They are high in polyunsturated fatty acids which helps in reducing LDL levels.
   So, consider eating Walnuts and Almonds as a healthy snack.

* Whole Grains
   Barley, Brown Rice and Oatmeal have lots of soluble fiber, which helps to reduce absorption of      cholestrol in the blood.

* Fish
   Fish varieties like Salmon, Tuna, Sardine, are high in Omega-3 fatty acids which helps in reducing   triglycerides in blood.

* Olive Oil
   This oil is a plant based fat, so it is a better choice when you want to reduce the LDL

* Bean
   Black, Kidney bean  and lentils are rich in soluble fiber,  which helps in reducing cholestrol in the blood.

I will be back with some more healthy tips, until then , Be Healthy..............

How to find the history of the websites we browsed earlier

I am back with another HOW TO ...........

We would have browsed a number of websites every day. But if you want to  know  about the websites we used in a particular month or week, this is how to find out :

In Windows, Chrome ----

Next to the Address Bar  try to find the  3 horizontal lines

Click that, scroll down through it , you will find options like New Tab, New Window, Bookmarks,
Recent Tabs, some more .... and then HISTORY

Click that ,it will show a list of the websites you have browsed for the last three days with time and date.
There will be a drop down box next to it.

There are 2 otpions - "remove from history" AND  "more from this site ".
* If you wish, you can remove the occurence of that website in the history .
* If you click "more from this site", it will show the history of when you have visited that particular website
   in the past years.

If you want to remove many websites from the history, there are check boxes next to each of the website listing.  You can select any number of websites you want and click the "Remove selected items " option on top.

If you choose the " Clear Browing Data " option on top, a new dialog box will open.
You can click the option you want ,
* Clear browsing data from the past hour
* past week
* past 4 weeks
* from the begining of time
and then click the " Browsing history " option.

If you just want to go to any website,  the choose from the browsing history list and  and click on it .
That website will open in a new window.

Now isn't that easy and understandable ? Yes Ladies, we got it !

How to delete a username

Hey Ladies,
After a long time I am back with some interesting and useful information. I hope these tips will come in handy.

Sometimes some small things make us frustrated. This issue is one of this kind.
Most of us have an account with any of the email providers like  gmail, yahoo, hotmail, rediffmail, etc.....

When we login to the account, it asks for the usename and password. Sometimes, we type in the wrong spelling  for the username  by mistake, or type the password too in the username field itself. Then, of course, we will correct it and and login to the account.

But when we login some other day , and type the first letter of the username, a list of username appears , which includes the  username with the wrong spelling, or the username with password.
This is because of the autofill option chosen in Firefox or Chrome or any web browser  you have.

SOLVE THIS?

When you try to login this time, do not type anything in the username field.
Just double click in that field. A list of usernames will appear.
Move the mouse on the username you want to delete. The username will be highlighted.
Click delete button on the keyboard.

Note:
In Windows, Shift + Del worked
In Ubuntu, Del worked.

All husbands will have the solution to these small issues, but they will neither have  time to fix the issue , nor to tell us how to fix it.
I hope this will be helpful . Please post your valuable comments.
I will be back soon with some other tip.
If you have any such questions, write your question in the comments . I will try my best to find a solution.
