Parenting Tips - Creating interest in Painting

Here is a question for all parents -
Do you like to paint or make crafts? Are you wondering how to cultivate that interest in your kids?

You will get the answer to this question, at the end of this post.

We don't know the talents which our kids possess. We have to try to find this out in various ways. For example, if you want to check whether your sweet kid has interest in painting, here is what you can do.

Is there any egg plant or lady's finger in your menu today? Then, save the stems or sticks of each eggplant.
Give them to your kid and ask him or her to use paint and dab it on a piece of paper. Just allow them to imagine and paint whatever they want.



Here is what i tried with my kid . I gave him egg plant's stem. He imagined them
as beach ball,



bunch of balloons and



also flowers.




Even lady's finger's stick will look very pretty with different colours as flowers, stars, etc..... or even create their favourite shapes....

Satisfying a kid's needs without spending money!!!!!!

Every kid will definitely ask some toy, which we might think is surely a waste of money or that we need not buy that toy right away.

In such a case, here is a tip which i am sure will help you........

Sit near your kid, have eye contact, and ask what they want, which colour they want. Pretend as if you are going to the toy shop, choosing the colour of the toy your kid wants to own.

Then, ask him/ her to pretend and take it to the billing counter him/herself, paying by cash / credit card, and finally say that he/she owns the toy. All we did was pretend and play.

The kid's wish has come out of the mind and his/her feelings came out. The kid starts believing that mom/dad listens to what he/she wants to say,and they also think that mom/dad want to fullfill their wish of buying the toy, but are not able to buy it right away for some reason.

Try this out parents............... this might work on some kids and might not for others.

waking up a kid

do you have problem in waking up your kid?
here's a tip for you:
sit beside your kid and wake him/her. then pretend as if you are a tortoise and your kid as a bunny or a kangaroo. Then ,say that you will go slowly to the bathroom and your kid as he/she is a bunny, will reach the bathroom first. this way, kids will get up soon and will be eager to reach first to brush their teeth.

Friends, really this does help me .You can also choose your kid's favourite animal for him/her and the 2nd favourite animal for yourself.
